Alongside working as a freelance designer I have also been a part-time tutor at Shillington Graphics College. The course covers all aspects of graphic design from concept creation through to visual realisation.
As a tutor it is required to have a high level of technical ability, experience in a wide range of practical graphics applications and good communication skills to lead and inspire pupils to push their creative limits.

Brand identity, environmental graphics and wall treatments, marketing posters and banners, POS, navigational signage, digital graphics and Illustration, working predominantly for the Russian sector. The role also included regular pitch work, naming, copywriting, mentoring junior designers, presenting to clients, and maintaining good working relationships with them throughout the project.
Much of the work was done closely alongside architects and interior designers, to ensure the brand is successfully realised throughout the entire customer experience.

Many of the projects required regular client presentations, also liaising closely with interior designers, store planners and external advertising teams to ensure a unified brand vision. My redesign work for Argos won 'Best Retail Store' at the Retail Interiors Awards 2006.
